This state needs a shakedown! It's fricking pathetic how shitty this state is with all the lawyers taking up all the billboards everywhere and TV commercials trying strike up bogus lawsuits. Our politicians are fricking garbage!

Is a complete joke. They actually pay a guy to go around and tell people how the bar reviews every single advertisement and they have to live up to these standards. It’s all bullshite.
I mean, they do in fact do that. Ironically, the reason so many legal advertisements are silly is because the Bar very heavily regulates what you say in legal advertising. So, they try to say as little as possible while still catching your attention.

Are PI attorney advertisements ethical?
Can these firms demonstrate their clients receive significantly better monetary settlements vs insurance company offers?
Has the Louisiana Bar ever conducted a survey of total PI legal advertising expenditures in the State?
There are legitimate reasons to use PI legal services, but it seems
logical to assume the massive amount of advertising results in avoidable insurance costs passed along to all of us.
There’s a reason our State is perennially near or at the top of auto insurance premiums. IMO this is significantly one of them.
It must be extraordinarily profitable for the law firms involved.
Remember when tort “reform” legislation was passed as a way to lower our premiums?
I remember, an abject and dismal failure.

All lawyer ads say let me take on the Big, Bad Insurance company that pays 98% of my salary. Wow, that must mean lawyers are bad. Well, they are just being disingenuous and unethical advertising that way.

nothing against real injury attorney's,
but the "billboard attorney" business is absolutely a morally bankrupt industry.
the fact that LSU and the Saints accept sponsorship deals from these "billboard attorneys" is unfortunate.
