Rand is the ONLY option.

A Johnson led house and Paul led Senate would be fricking awesome.

Not my pick, but the way little britt is being pushed wouldn't be surprised if it was her.

Who I would like but probably no chance in hell:

Cruz
Paul
Hawley
Tuberville
Schmitt
Vance

Who I would may be okay with, maybe a chance:

Lee
Daines
Rubio
R Scott
T Scott

Who I have problems with, probably decent chance:

Barrasso (too cozy with FBI, Ukraine $)
Ernst (soft, flaky)
Crapo (all in on Ukraine $)
Cotton (loves war)

Who I despise, probably a good chance:

Thune
Cornyn

Would love Rand but probably not realistic. He wouldn't get the majority of support from the GOP senate caucus. Thune has been groomed for the position but I hope he is not selected.

I'm ignorant. Is it just the Republicans that vote on this position? Does the vote just require a majority?

It's good that a vote will at least force the RINOs on record.

Per the OP, Rand would be great as he is a proven quantity. Lee may be a bridge too far.
