The difference in this team and the other top teams is at home. We blow games that the other top teams don’t. We are 17-12 at home and 18-12 on the road. 5-6 more wins at home, and we are right there at the top of the standings in the west. There are many losses this year that still sting…. Utah, Grizzlies (Ja’s first game back), and Bulls on Sunday for example. Whether it is focus, coaching, or whatever…. This is the difference between a top 2-3 seed and a top 5-7 seed.

Think that’s part of having the talent, but not having an identity. None of our stars have that killer’s mentality and there’s no clutch gene which starts with coaching. thats why I love the joke we have a youth counselor/pastor as a HC. Spot on
If we won a few more games we were expected to over:
a) bad teams (17-9 against below .500 teams; worst win % of West playoff teams),
b) blown close games (1-6; worst record in close games of any team),
and c) home games (17-12; 17th worst record of 20 current playoff teams)
Then we’d be one of the best teams in the league. With how good this teams looked at times, goes to show it’s all mental that they can’t be the least bit consistent.

I have been to 4 games this year, we are 0-4 in those games. First Dallas blowout, day after Christmas Memphis loss in overtime, Phoenix and Devin Booker's explosion, and Sunday vs. the Bulls. They have definitely tested my resolve as a fan in those.

Can we enjoy a win for 12 hours

Feels like the team just groups games into 3..
@NYK, @IND, IND..
Seems like their thinking is if you win in NY, then punt @IND (especially after plane lands at 6am), and win at home against IND. Except IND is a really good team and could easily walk into our house and take that one too

There have been about 6-7 more games that we should’ve won, but gave away late. Those add up when having a comfortable spot 1-4 instead of hoping the brakes don’t fall off and we’re in the play in tournament.

I think part of that is we simply don't get calls.
I know it's easy to blame refs but damn we get disrespected on our home court A LOT!
So many bullshite calls or no calls.

Easy for the refs to be biased when your games are broadcast on Bounce TV
