I agree with most of what you’re saying. Especially about Dyson being a major factor if he can contribute positively on both sides like Herb. But I disagree with you that teams will try harder in the playoffs and that will negate Zion. He’s unguardable. That’s why you see teams sending doubles and building walls. We saw Zion making the right plays last night, driving and kicking to a wide open Nance in the corner and him bricking the shite out of it. He did miss a wide open JV at one point that killed the possession, but it’s really just about who is around Zion and the team embracing that Zion is the #1 guy. I’m ok with BI running the offense with Zion out but when Zion is on the floor the game should be run through Zion. Willie had a god awful ATO at the end of the game yesterday resulting in a BI fall away middie. Coaching malpractice

I just think that good teams save their best defensive "plans" and efforts for the playoffs...and usually do a much better job of neutralizing a "one trick pony" come playoff time. I mean...who really wants to stand in front of Zion or the Greek Freek or LeBron in a regular season game ?? If you think they "build a wall" for Zion in regular season...just wait until the playoffs.

I hope you're right that he'll start (& keep) kicking it back out....for easy C&S 3s. If he does...it'll eventually reach a point where Zion actually has room to operate on the inside. As to BI...well, I've pretty much given up on him shooting anything but midrangers...when push comes to shove. Ohh...and at least a half-azz effort on the defensive end wouldn't hurt for either of them...especially Zion.
