Just have to hope they improve. This years team isn’t going to be as good as last years offensively. And at this point, they haven’t really been impressive against subpar competition. With that being said, we lost a lot of experience and many of these guys can easily improve throughout the year.

You’ll get all kinds of excuses but this hitting against these kinds of teams does not bode well for SEC play

Problem so far is White and Travinski trying to hit HRs instead of being patient. They are the 2 veterans and are leaving lots of runners on

White's problem is he's hitting missiles (on the ground) into the shift with runners on. LSU could conceivably have 10-15 more runs this season if Tommy was coming through with RISP like he has throughout his career.

As I posted in another thread…..

Here’s the reality….last year at this exact same point LSU was scoring 9 runs per game and giving up 4. This team? Averaging 8 runs a game and also giving up 4. Our record is exactly the same - 6-1.
Take the emotional element out of everyone’s perspective and the 2 teams are performing about the same.

Obviously you're not going to replace crews, but was hoping they'd grab another big bat in the portal to give Tommy some protection

Tommy is coming off a lot of down time after shoulder surgery and he’s smoked a few balls into the wind
.

Some of y’all really need to get a grip. Are y’all new baseball fans? You’re not going to score 10+ runs every game. Go look at the stats. We aren’t hitting as bad as you think. Here I’ll help you with some averages.

Bingham: .412
Brown: .368
Travinski: .333
Milam: .333
Kling: .333
White: .308
Neal: .267
Jones: .261
Pearson: .250
Braswell: .167

Those aren’t bad numbers by any means. Not to mention this team is young and trying to figure it out. Give them some time man it’s only weekend number two. Do you expect everyone to bat above .350? If so you’re watching the wrong sport.

Both are hitting over .300 right now, Travinski leads the team in walks, White barreled two balls today that forced gold glove type plays.

You’re dumb.
