Baseball will not go undefeated and fire the coach. Maybe next year.

Yeah, Jay is useless. We're not getting anywhere with this team, better fire him and look for someone else.

We should probably forfeit the next two games while we search for new coaches.

The umps must be on the take. They made us walk and hit in to those double plays.

The 1983 University of Texas Longhorns are widely considered to be the greatest college baseball team of all-time. They held an incredible 66 and 14 record.

They were led by future MLB superstar Roger Clemens, winning the 1983 College World Series handily, beating the University of Alabama by a score of 4-3.

Notably, Texas became the first team to go undefeated in the College World Series.

tangentially, does anyone know where the line “lsu fan’s perfect season: go undefeated, fire the coach” comes from?

1989 TAMU and 1991 Witchta St (66 wins) and a couple Oregon St teams were really good.
1989 Witchta St won 68 games and the CWS. They were excellent as well.

2013 LSU would have beaten the brakes off of most teams with their 57 wins in today’s game. It happens sometimes that truly great teams lose.

seems like LSU started out last season with 5 wins and 1 loss to Iowa...

I see a trend here....
