Mulkey is preaching to the choir when she definitely included upsets (didn't the word but described beating a team with more talent) as one of the main ways to judge a coach's progress. Until the last 2 LSU games, that was sorely missing from McMahon's resume. There is no way in hell LSU should have lost 16 out of 18 SEC games last year. That is why I was down on the guy. Sorry, but upsets happen all the time and until the last week, McMahon hasn't been able to pull one.

Some dumbass on here last night was going on about how it's taken McMahon "a lot longer" than he thought it should to get the team competitive. Something like this would have been nice to link.
