frickIN SLAYER! Korn closes it out. Saturday and Sunday are lit. Three 6 Mafia plays the rap group for diversity.

That’s an absolutely LOADED collection of major acts. Seems like a monster get for Louisville.

I’m disappointed with Friday’s lineup. I mean SLAYER rules the day, but that undercard is not my taste. Saturday and Sunday are my favorites

Lindeman, Anthrax, and Clutch are all worth seeing. It looks like only 3 or 4 bands worth seeing for every day though.

Wow! That almost looks fake.
Someone recently turned me on to Health. They play on Saturday.
They’re pretty decent
Blue Monday
It’s from the Atomic Blonde soundtrack (which is pretty decent also)
1 David Bowie– Cat People (Putting Out The Fire)
2 Peter Schilling– Major Tom (Völlig Losgelöst)
3 Health (2)– Blue Monday
4 Tyler Bates– C*cks*cker
5 Nena– 99 Luftballons
6 George Michael– Father Figure
7 After The Fire– Der Kommissar
8 Siouxsie And The Banshees*– Cities In Dust
9 Re-Flex (2)– Politics Of Dancing
10 Marilyn Manson & Tyler Bates– Stigmata
Written-By – Al Jourgensen
11 Tyler Bates– Demonstration
Written-By – Tyler Bates
12 A Flock Of Seagulls– I Ran (So Far Away)
13 Kaleida (2)– 99 Luftballons
14 'Til Tuesday– Voices Carry
15 The Clash– London Calling

That Thursday lineup looks particularly amazing, but the whole lineup looks dope.

I hope this means Gojira is going to add a tour here in America since they are booked for this. If you haven't see them yet, you must. They are amazing.

Skillet seems really out of place here

P.O.D. gets a main stage, just a mid afternoon slot. I’m watching them for sure.

That's a solid list.
If I could go, it would be for Slayer.

Friday is good.. Clutch are great live, and some of the bands on smaller stages are pretty good
Til Lindemann is the lead singer of Rammstein, that's gonna be a crazy live show
I'm going to Riot Fest in Chicago a week before (Slayer also playing), it's a week before and cheaper, and a little more diverse with punk & alt bands - but this festival lineup is a pretty good

Ok guys I’m in Hurricane Helene affected Louisville for Louder Than Life. My third year in a row and first time going all four days. This page will be updated frequently.
Day 2 (Friday) was cancelled so I missed Slayer, Anthrax, Sevendust, Powerman 5000, etc. I was in town yesterday so here’s my Thursday review.
Bands I stumbled upon were Fit for a King, Point North and Halestorm. I don’t know a lot about Lzzy Hale but that chick can scream and sing her arse off. Great performance and she gives Nita Strauss some competition.
Seether and 5FDP were surprisingly good. Seether got hits and Ivan sounded great as well.
The three bands I wanted to see were Slipknot, Sum 41 and The Offspring. During Offspring, the pit formed around me and I spent the entire set moshing and sending crowd surfers over. Took an elbow to the face but I didn’t get knocked down. Great show but the sound was muffled by the wind some unless you were up close like I was.
Sum 41: this was their last Kentucky show as well as US festival. Put on a great show. It was packed.
Slipknot is on their 25 year anniversary tour playing only the self titled album. This crowd was massive. A lot of people dressed in the jump suits and masks, I was way back for this one but you’ll see the videos down below,
Overall, Day 1 was a success. If the weather cooperates, you got Saturday and Sunday reviews up next.
