Idk if it’s just me, but doesnt it feel like LSU has a bunch of visitors early in the spring rather than late? Is there any benefit to that? I know we like the official visits later during the season to help ”close” the deal.

With ESD it's best to get out in front of these kids before they get locked into their senior years and such. Most like to lock it up early.

Outside of the NIL part of the equation it has to be a pretty easy pitch. How would you like to block for the #1 QB, RB and WR in the nation and be coached by a proven OL coach? That translates to a future high draft pick and a big pay day if you put in the work.

I think it's a plus to get a good feel of players, build relationships, and try to get them back ultimately for Bayou Bash.
