Tbh I've kind of learned to like the All Star game as it is.
It's not a competitive game. But it is fun to watch the players play around, do some stupid shots they would never be allowed to take during a regular game. Try some crazy dunks, passes, alley oops that would be way too risky for a regular game.
Once I started looking at the game from that lens, its a lot more entertaining now.

I feel like this is better than the past few years

Yeah if you take it as an exhibition, it’s entertaining. The way this is trending it seems like it’s going to get competitive in the second half. The young guns are going at it

Might we see a 200 point score?

Jokic on the fast break, I thought Jokic was gonna dunk it.

I don’t mind it as is, but All Star MVP is the dumbest shite about it. Whoever is the most selfish and takes the most shots to score the most gets rewarded. Jayson Tatum had one in the past (last year) where he was such a try hard and embarrassed himself.

All time record for points in a half. It’s gone by pretty fast fwiw. Wonder who’s doing halftime this year

I think he wanted to and just didn't have enough to do it and just laid it in to keep from embarrassing himself.

East made 22 3s.

Respectfully, nobody tryna to listen to Jennifer Hudson for a halftime show.

Obviously not saying they're going all out, but the fast pace and 22 of 48 from 3 also had a hand in the 104 1st half points for the East.
Hoping they lock in mid 4th like they used to do but doubt they will.
