When you become an adult there should be a point where you get to where you shouldn't give a frick about what other people say or think.
Everyone has opinions, who gives a shite? If those opinions will have no impact on your life why worry about them? Do what makes you happy.. I mean as long as its legal (for the most part.. Or should I say as long as you are not hurting anyone.. Don't do shite like go after underaged girls).
Are you bragging about it to them? Because I can't think of a situation where you are dating a girl, you bring her around married men then they pull you to the side and is like "how old is she?" then all of a sudden married men start shaming you.
That or people probably don't give nearly as much of a frick as you think they do.

My SO is quite a bit younger. She’s an old soul and I’m a kid at heart. We get along perfect. The age thing is overblown.

My wife is 4.5 years older than me. I have no data to support this, but I'd suspect that relationships are probably more successful when the spouses are within 6-7 years of each other in age.
As with everything in life, I'm sure there are many exceptions. I'm 46 and can't imagine what I'd have in common with a 28 yr old though

It is rare. When the socials talk about being attractive in your 40s to much younger women it doesn't take any account of a long term relationship for the reason you stated. Sure it is fun to pound on a 20 something year old but rarely is it sustainable enough for a solid relationship

It's just that women my age all want marriage and kids.
I don't want an old woman in her 30's.
Younger women are more beautiful, more fun, and aren't pushing me for marriage & kids.
