Is shingles transferred from contact like pox? Curious why anyone would downvote. If it is, then I would consider. I thought it just snuck up on old people who had pox as a kid .

Had the shingles vax's a few years ago and can't remember any side effects. Think I might be due for a repeat.

I don't get the flu shots nor the Covid boosters, because I'm low risk and in good health. I did get the Shingles vax, cause I hear it's horrible. Im 57.

I got the vax. Didn’t get the chicken pox until I was in my 30’s. Saw some people who got the shingles and I don’t want that. Not a single side effect that I’m aware of so far.

Had shingles. Not too bad. Looked like rash and hurt only a little.

A few years later I got the first shot of the two shot vaccine regimen. It was terrible. I felt horrible for three days.

Since I heard the second shot was worse, I never got the second shot.

Am I gonna die?

The reason people used to have chicken pox parties for kids was because getting it when you are an adult could be really bad.
