It’s going to make this crowd look tame in terms of interactions with players

Ryder cups are different

It’s one tournament.

The drunk Frat Boys can't afford the beer, much less the tickets, at the RC.

The middle age New Yorkers will be twice as dickish don’t worry

I will be there and sincerely hope it gets rowdy.

are you serious?

I would think there is a higher percentage of actual golf fans at the ryder cup.

Heard this take... let the fans do their shite and party but also make it OK for the pros to chirp back at them.
This year seems to have been even crazier than normal especially on Saturday when gates were shut down and alcohol sales halted. That's a lot of high profit spending denied to the organizer.

I am thinking about going to this one. The RC website links to some pretty reasonably priced all inclusive packages. You can do 3 nights at the Hyatt on 24th street and Saturday and Sunday tickets for $4350 per. Includes shuttle on the Long Island rail to and from the course both days and all food and non-alcoholic beverages at the course. Also includes breakfast at the Long Island Rail lounge both mornings.

That package is tempting. I’m waiting for just tickets to go on sale. Me and my buddy have been planning to go to this Ryder cup for a couple of years now
