Keep pushing the Lamar Jackson Narrative

And of course Stephen A Smith’s ignorant fricking arse is calling out the one person with enough balls to go against the media and not vote for Lamar for MVP. Not that Lamar didn’t have a great season, but the guy had his reasons.

The media was pushing this shite since before the season even started.

Lone voter:
“In the explanation of his All-Pro ballot, Schatz summed up his vote for Allen over Jackson by stating, “I trusted my numbers and my gut over going with the crowd just to avoid controversy.”

Let Jackass collect his consolation prizes. He will NEVER win the Lombardi—not e’en in a video game!

Lamar Jackson is one of 11 players in history to win 2 NFL MVPs, and he’s only 26.

Lamar Jackson nearly became the only player in history to win 2 unanimous MVPs.

Keep pushing the Lamar sucks and didnt deserve MVP narrative though.

These are regular season awards. Correct? Or is that just college ? Heisman Butkus etc?

If so. Easy fix. Hold the vote and announce the award at the end of the regular season. Weak leading up to playoffs have the votes. Announce winners Saturday of wild card week. This delay through the playoffs skews the vote if they don’t have to vote until now and gives the talking heads more time and less to talk about as more teams drop. It will never happen, but would fix most of this.

McCaffery should be the MVP. SF wouldn't be in the Suoer Bowl without him.

Although the talking heads of the media have kept saying Lamar is all season so he will probably win because it's in everyone's head.

They did the same with Myles Garrett. JJ Watts stats blew Myles's stats out of the water yet Myles got the defensive mvp because that's what everyone were saying all season. Even though he had like 1 sack in the last 7 games and didn't change a game like Watt did. Watt actually won games for the Steelers because of their inept offense.

It doesn't matter. If the talking heads beat it into the voters brains that this man should win the MVP them he will. Stats be dawned.

ESPN does the same for the Heisman Trophy.

He must’ve read every thread here that pride started or hijacked to talk about Josh Allen.

Just this past week I watched Stephen A. lay some heavy criticism on Jackson.

Smith can be obnoxious and loud, but he’s pretty even-handed.
