How did Biden get elected President? Why?

If Biden had limited memory in 2017, how and more importantly, WHY did he get put into office?
If you remember, the Democrat field had Buttigieg, Harris, Bloomberg, Sanders, and Warren. Biden finished 3rd in Iowa, if I recall, and skipped New Hampster. Then right before South Carolina primary, all of the big donor money switched to Biden, amid concerns that Bernie was going to get on a roll.
So they chose Biden. They knew he was completely controllable. They had to desperate if that's they guy the coalesced behind. We all saw it.
If they were willing to take a senile old man and make him POTUS, it makes sense that they would also cheat to make it happen, right?

They thought he was the best of a bad group of choices and cut a deal with Clyburn to deliver a big victory in SC to justify that.
They had intentionally ratfricked the Iowa results to blunt any momentum by Bernie and Buttplug as not to kill off Biden’s chances before they got to SC.

Because he was backed by one of the 2 parties that control our elections.
The why is pretty simple, he was the easily controlled. All they do is put a stack of papers in front of him when they are done and he signs them without even reading or caring what they say

Not just dems - GOPe members too. To keep the grift machine spitting cash into accounts, the monkey at the top has to be part of the grift, on a chain, or ineffective. They managed to make Trump mainly ineffective in his first term but that was not (and will not) going to happen in his 2nd.

My theory is that the Biden Presidency is about damage control. What better way to hide rampant corruption than to have a President that is a complete puppet?
They thought that if they got rid of Trump, then all the talk would go away. Just to make sure, they are keeping him preoccupied with legal issues, which also make it easy to discredit him. Well, he decided to run again.
Now look at the hysteria and over-the-top rhetoric now that there is a possibility that Trump could be re-elected. "He's going to end Democracy and cancel future elections". "He's going to put everyone in GITMO." Crazy stuff. They sound desperate.
Their puppet isn't polling well, so it's time to get someone else in there.

This is by far the worst and most destructive administration ever.
What's even more frightening about this mess is the fact that Democrats will be more than happy to vote for more of this by giving their vote to Big Mike or Newsom.

You just answered your own question. Of course they did and of course that's why.
And I'm also convinced that they sacrificed him as a one term POTUS, and I have been saying that almost since the day he was elected.
They had Biden push an agenda that they knew would cause him to not get re-elected, but that they wanted pushed. They also knew he wouldn't be able to physically and mentally serve another term anyway, so why not? Sometimes in chess you have to sacrifice a pawn.
The plan was delayed because he refused to step down when they asked him to, but that's always something the DNC can fix one way or another.
They figured they would take Trump out by prosecuting him, which would offset them replacing Biden as a candidate, and that may yet happen.
And sure they cheated. They always cheat, every election. So do Republicans. 2020 was a very special set of circumstances that turned out just right for them and in 2020 I think the cheating was able to be enough to tip the election.

Potatus wasn't elected President, he was installed. The 2020 Presidential Election was stolen from Donald Trump and us.
How did they do it? A three pronged attempt involving: 1) mail in ballots from dead people, 2) ballot harvesting with Ballot Mules dropping fake ballots in drop boxes and 3) Dominion Voting Machines with embedded modems connected to servers overseas. The voter fraud scheme had some help from government agencies. The FBI had Hunter Biden's Laptop. That Laptop had evidence showing Joe Biden (aka The Big Guy) got kickbacks from a foreign country (China). Plus other nefarious activities by Hunter. In spite of the fact the FBI had evidence of criminal activity involving Joe and Hunter Biden they refused to release that laptop before the election. Facts are stubborn things.
We have video of the fraud. In one incident a Ballot Mule arrives to deposit his stash of fake ballots in a drop box. He hesitates at the Drop Box when he notices the ballots are not signed. So he returns to his car, sits in the passenger side and signs the ballots, then returns to the drop box and drops them in. All caught on video. I never heard any news this Ballot Mule faced any consequences for this fraud.
Having said that, I believe we're in for some more voter fraud in 2024. Incredibly, some states are still using Mail-in Ballots. Furthermore, IMO we'll see illegal aliens voting in this upcoming election. And I'm not so sure President Trump will get a favorable SCOTUS ruling on this attempt by Colorado to kick him off their ballot. I'll say what we all should know - John Roberts absolutely detest Donald Trump. IMO Roberts has been compromised.
Our country is a mess. This is Barack Obama's government. Corruption is rampant with really insane and nasty people lurking in the shadows of this government, with Crook-in-Chief Joseph Robinette Biden,Jr sitting on top of it all.

The American Media were successful in brainwashing enough of the population into "ignoring their own eyes" (the country was great under Trump) and made Trump such a boogeyman, that even Republicans chose to willfully ignore the blatant cheating of the Democrats.
