And no one has ever met anyone who admits they ever went to a Deep State meeting.
It's the same thing as people on the left who are absolutely certain that Institutional Racism is responsible for every problem that black people have in America.
Victimhood hustlers have been selling that to the left for decades.
Now victimhood hustlers have figured out that they can sell victimhood to the right as well. All they have to do is make The Man into The Deep State instead of The Man just being all white people like it is when they sell it to the left, and they are golden.
The left and the right are quickly becoming mirror images of each other. The right is several years behind the left so it will take a little while longer before the right's paranoia catches up with the left's in terms of how mainstream the ideas are within the base, but they also have the advantage of having social media closer to ground zero, so it won't be long.

I don't think it's structured that way, in so much as it's structured at all. I believe it's several factions pushing, influencing, blackmailing, threatening, paying, whatever are in the way if their goals.
Most of the rich elite are globalists and are in step with WEF agendas. Those rich elites own or exert influence on media, Congress, and other countries.
The money is the driver.
The intelligence services are used to help accomplish whatever they have planned.
If you want to know the plans, research the WEF and its plans.
It's no secret and it's not hidden.

It is likely true that some exists on both sides; however, considering the vast majority are in DC (an area that votes 95% Democrat), it is clear that the majority of them come from the left.
We can provide example upon example of people who have acted as part of the "deep state," even if they don't have membership cards and secret handshakes.
-Vindman undermined a president, because HE did not like Trump's methods or politics. He then used politics via Congress to disrupt the Trump administration for at least a year.
-Peter Strzok and Lisa Page undermined a president with their own agenda supported by their private texts. They had enough power within the FBI to disrupt the Trump administration for years.
-Lois Lerner used her power in the IRS to attack those supporting conservative issues for years.
NONE of these people were elected and most were not even appointed. Rather, they worked their way up in the DC political culture and used their own politics and agenda to disrupt the country (i.e., "Deep State").
I know other examples could be added, but I thought this was enough to answer your "honest" question.

The deep state is a collection of government bureaucrats working together for their own self interests to advance their own careers in unelected positions within government agencies, judges who owe allegiance to politicians / machines who placed them on their seats who rule along party lines instead of constitutionality, military brass who worship the almighty dollar and defense budgets, and politicians who will do anything and everything to stay in power at the expense of their constituents / American ppl. You’re being deliberately obtuse by calling for the movie villain portrayal
