Have all the “HVL shouldn’t play point guard” crowd watched Poa throw it away twice in the first 2 minutes of the 4Q?

I think her issues are 100% between the ears. She needs reps and confidence (the biggest thing).

She will be a solid role player years 2-3

Did anyone notice the lighting was bad? It just looked little dark. And either the volume was low or the fans were awful. It may be because the fans were so far away.

Rosario slow with poor feet movement. She gets beat every time someone dribbles around her. She can't seem to move her feet quick enough to stop it. But she has improved since early in the season. Still needs a lot of work and coaching.

It's DEL Rosario not Rosario. Sorry, but most people like using their names correctly. You could call her ADR.

Poa looks bad at PG as well, but I wonder if there is still more benefit to HVL playing her more natural position. I do not have the answer.

Yeah, Poa and Van Lith had the same number of turnovers (3) but the problem is Poa played essentially half the number of minutes. I will say this not getting to see the game. Sometimes the turnover is charged to a player when it isn't their fault. Examples: player trapped in a corner with no one coming to help...someone not looking for the ball when passed to them....someone not coming to the ball when closely guarded, etc.

They are filming from the rafters. This multi purpose Memorial Gym is a disaster for basketball. Teams sitting behind baskets and only head coach can roam the side court. Horrible for television broadcasts. Elevated court could be a dangerous for players running out of bounds.

Yep. Del Rosario. Literally “of the rosary” in Spanish.

I still say it should be point guard by committee. HVL is better at the 2 and no, Poa cannot be playing significant minutes. Those folks who barely watch the games and then come screeching that Poa is the PG answer are uninformed and dreaming.

Poa is better defensively…no way Hvl could keep up with Clark from Iowa

We beat vandy handily but they missed a ton of open threes

I disagree. Getting 10-15 quality minutes out of Poa is a big key to us getting to where we want to be.

If you think you sit one of Williams, Johnson, or HVL vs Iowa so Poa can guard Caitlin Clark for significant minutes—then that take is as shite as those you clutter up the game threads with.
