The answer is simple, Jose, Dyson, and Hawk can all get minutes while Naji gets zero.
I gave a rotation, it can definitely happen.

And again, that's when all 10 dudes are healthy, which is less than half the time. There's enough of minutes for the 3 of them.

Jose is also the closest thing we have to a true PG off the bench. For that reason, I think he comfortably has 15 minutes a game in the rotation.

And come playoffs when rotations shrink, I think Dyson and Hawkins will lose more minutes than Jose when a premium is placed on ball handling and shooting.

Everytime I see a defender close out on Dyson on the perimeter I just think “what happens to our offense and what does Dyson do when that close out stops in the playoffs.”

We stay healthy, some fun playoff basketball ahead

See this is the issue right here. Being content with Jose being what he is for 15min a game. For how long? A season? 2 seasons? Resign him and pay him more for the same role?

How about just give Dyson/ Hawk the green light to actually soak up the minutes and reach their potential.

I care more about Dyson potentially being a better PG and higher caliber player in 2 years than whatever Jose is now vs Dyson now.

At some point Jose being Jose isn't going to be worth those 15 minutes whether it's because we can't sit Dyson/ Hawk or because we can't pay Jose.

It sucks being a fan of this team because we rarely have players that want to be here and it's easy to get attached to those players. But the teams that win the championships don't get attached to those players and keep moving forward or making moves. That's why they win championships and some team have fans hoping they can keep a guy playing a 15min role for 5 years because they like him and he wants to be here.

If Dyson/ Hawk are busts then Jose does nothing for us and we need to make moves anyway. If we trade Jose then we probably have growing pains but give Hawk/ Dyson a push which is good in the long run.

Unless we trade (1) of BI/ CJ next year then this just doesn't ever actually work.

And i thought it was rather premature to sub out your starters regardless of what the opponent did when you only had a 13 point lead with 3 minutes left.
Don’t forget Willie decided to foul the Clippers to sub the starters out while they were in the bonus. Up 13 with 3 minutes left on the road against the hottest team in the league. It was one of the dumber things Ive seen Willie do.

hahaha, yeah that was really strange. Just play defense and call time out next time you have the ball if you are hell bent on putting the reserves in but Willie gonna Willie. It would have been even funnier if the Clippers preceded to put their starters back in at that point.
