Also, I wonder what happened to all of the Ukraine and US journalists that questioned Mr. Z in Ukraine? They were turned into future Biden voters.
Why doesn't Putin trust his citizens to access X (Twitter) legally in Russia? Yet allows his cronies to post?

Same reason Zelensky killed American citizen Gonzalo Lira.

Pretty simple answer to your question:
FB and Twitter have proven themselves to be willing partners in censorship favoring one political side over the other and have as much as admitted to kowtowing to FBI requests (read: demands) that they censor posts and tweets that are not in line with the narrative the government wants put forward.
Considering that our current regime is hellbent on providing a favorable view of Ukraine and has shown that they will weaponize FB and Twitter it's no wonder that these platforms have been shut down in Russia. However, Russian citizens still make good use of Youtube. So maybe it has something to do with our government interfering with the free exchange of information and ideas in direct violation of the First Amendment to our Constitution in the Bill of Rights.
So, why doesn't OUR government trust our citizens to make their own decisions without having their information spoon fed to them with "certain undesirable" bits having been culled?
