lol, Floyd was more than "reliable." He was undefeated and a first round draft pick
Not really until later in the year. One trick fastball pony. All 3 weekend starters can land 3 pitches for strikes this year

Only people who don’t watch the games say this. He was throwing breaking balls under Kelly and was very effective when he threw them for strikes.

I was told by a player that played LSU last year that to him Floyd was actually harder to face than Skenes. With Skenes everything was 90+, he said Floyd had the ability to mix up speeds along with a Mid 90s Fastball.

I think this had to do with Wes having an MLB mindset with our staff last year. He allowed them a long leash in the regular season and experimented with what worked and what didn't. Then he took the data and rounded the staff into shape for the post season.

Yeah MLB drafted Floyd in the 1st (or competitive balance round A) because he only had 1 competitive pitch

You didnt watch last season, its ok to admit that
