That’s false. I 100% agree with NIL and allowing college players to make money. That has nothing to do with the NFL or anything being a “monopoly”.

Thus ending the monopoly they have on college football athletes?

We should allow high school kids to leave for college without graduating. Let's break up this "High School monopoly."

They can do that, actually. They just need a GED and the appropriate test scores and HS courses or anything that is required by the school they want to go to.

You mention CFL, XFL, indoor football, and they’ll say “well no one ever gets drafted from there, they aren’t real options” and then argue that college did have a monopoly and was a cartel preventing players from earning what they were presumably worth

You are definitely not a lawyer. When players enter the NFL is an NFL rule. The NCAA has nothing to do with it.

The argument for allowing college players to make money on the Name, Image or Likeness is not because there is a monopoly on pro football you dolt.

Sherman Act

I thought this was going to be about Richard Sherman’s 990 SAT/19 ACT equivalent score he made in high school to get into Stanford.

No one is arguing that the pro leagues exploit the players, the argument is the CFB structure exploit the players by keeping the revenue and doing everything they can to not share that with the players. They set the rules and keep the money. That’s a lot different than a pro league with a union and or contracts with set pay structures and an open market for players to get their fair compensation.

You’re talking about completely different argument which is even sillier. I never compared CFB to the XFL or those other leagues and my point was completely unrelated to what you’re trying to argue

Again you have brought apples to our orange exhibit
