What’s Putin’s mechanism here to assert control over Tucker’s after the fact assessment?

Part of the problem is people believing Putin is more trustworthy than the POTUS.

First, nothing in what I posted suggests that I believe Putin is more trustworthy than POTUS.

That said, they're not far apart in terms of un-trustworthiness.

GFY. You sound like the Marxist federal government now in place!
I don't need an editor deciding what information I receive.
I'm capable.
This is a simple issue.
If anyone is doubtful of what Putin has to say, or believes it will harm then in some way, DON'T WATCH.

I'm not talking about government action. I'm talking about being responsible - when you interview a lying dictator, don't platform their lies without clearly labeling them as lies or else don't publish them.

This is exactly what Maddow says about not airing Trump -- which is, ironic, because, you know -- Russiagate, Putin bounties on American troops, Hunter's laptop, etc., etc.

Yes, Trump and Putin are quite alike, aren't they?

Why are you certain Putin will be lying?

Of course, the answer to everything is to be as irresponsible as your supposed enemy.

They both have a vested interest. Putin wants to be viewed as the good guy on the right side of his invasion and Tucker will kiss his arse for the views. Also, Tucker knows his base and what they WANT to hear, regardless if it's fact or not. He knows where his bread is buttered. Same thing MSNBC or the the others do.

Because his lips are moving?

He's been lying about the war even before it started.

So, you are asserting there won't be anything critical of Putin in this presentation, or that anything that may be will just be sort of a sort of token 'wink-and-nod' type variety?

Imagine spending an entire thread blatantly opposing an American journalist interviewing a major world leader while pretending like you aren’t.

It’s even less convincing that your “I’m a Republican” schtick

For the third time, I have no issue with it. It is what it is.

Putin needs good PR and Tucker is willing to give it to him.

I get why. Money. I just personally woudln't go to our enemy and
give them time or prop them up.

Can't wait to see how it unfolds. Maybe I am wrong and Tucker
will pin Putin down with some hard hitting journalistic questions and demand answers.......

Hell no, Tucker won't. That's why Putin wants him.

This is Putin. No one in his country is allowed to publicly oppose the war, especially journalists.
