Do you enjoy cigars?

Recently quit cigarettes but still have cravings. I’m thinking about buying a cheap cigar. Is there much of a nicotine buzz? I don’t drink anymore so pairing it with alcohol means nothing to me.

Just dont inhale or you will be sick as a dog. They can give you a pretty good buzz though

I enjoy them occasionally.
Would not recommend taking them up to replace cigarettes, get some nicorette

Don’t.
If you quit smoking don’t get near anything with nicotine. Just gut it out and walk away.

I dislike cigars but enjoy a tobacco pipe. You have more choice on the type of tobacco you smoke in a tobacco pipe plus you get some that smells good and people don't mind you smoking near them.
Same as a Cigar though, don't inhale.

I don’t do it often, but I do enjoy a good cigar. I prefer a Maduro wrapper.

Yes. I bought some good cigars while down in the Caribbean and would smoke them in the morning with a cup of coffee while reading on the back porch soaking up the sun.

I won’t comment on whether you should be using as a replacement or not
I do enjoy a good cigar though. But I generally only have them 3-4 times a year, usually on vacation / holidays.

Dont go cheap if you are going to do it.
Arturo Fuente Hemmingway or Hemmingway - Short Story
You should be able to find them at a local cigar chop. Nothing fancy and its not too heavy. These are my go to. Normally $7-$10.

Not into smoking for a long period of time so I get the c notes. Nice for a quick smoke while I take my afternoon stroll.

I quit cigarettes about a month ago. Now I'm a trashy redneck with a vape. Eventually I'll throw that away too.
I have a few nice pipes that I enjoyed smoking on occasion. The tobacco blends are mild, flavorful, and aromatic. Those, unfortunately, must be discarded as well.
Cigars... I've smoked a few in my 55 years, but never really enjoyed them. They're too strong and they last waaaaaaaaay too long. After about ten minutes, I'm freaking tired of the damned things. They abuse my sense of taste more than cigarettes or a pipe ever did and the odor of stale cigar smoke is plain offensive.
as for the nicotine buzz - yeah, there's a helluva nicotine buzz that comes from smoking a cigar. I've been a cigarette smoker since I was fourteen, with a five year break between the ages of 43 and 48. Dumb arse me started up again with just one cigarette on a job site seven years ago and it's been a bitch to quit since then.
But, having smoked all those years, I have long since gotten over the nicotine buzz that you can get from cigarettes and tobacco in general. Cigars, however, give me a serious nicotine buzz that is a wee bit over the top for my liking. Even without inhaling.
The smoke from a cigar is lush and thick and full of nicotine. When that smoke hits the inside of your cheek it is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream with no need for inhaling.
Just keep in mind that as a former smoker, it's gonna be pretty hard not to inhale. Best thing for dealing with the cravings is a bag full of Brach's candies of various flavors. Like the kind that you used to get at a grocery store by the pound (or for free out of the bin if no one was watching).
Good luck kicking the habit. The cravings will subside significantly after about three weeks. After a couple months you'll be getting a buzz from breathing good, clean air!

I don't care for "real" cigars, but I absolutely love Black and Milds, especially the wood tips:
Dude I worked with in college got me onto them. IMO they legit taste good and are very easy to smoke. I inhale a bit, but they go down smoother than cigarettes (I was never a smoker, but tried cigarettes when I was younger). I rarely ever smoke...I can buy a couple boxes (5 in each) and that can last me 6 months or even a year. But every now and then like to smoke like when I'm at the camp, on my canoe trip, or when I'm grilling. I smoke so seldom that I still get a bit of a buzz when I do smoke them.
They are "cheap" cigars and I assume not very good quality, but I think they are delicious, and the wood tips are sweet.

Sometimes I get a pack of backwoods cigars to smoke while I run equipment. The original flavor is pretty good. They are small enough you can hold them in your mouth keeping your hands free for for work. Also...you can pretend your clint eastwood

Camacho Corojo or My Father by Garcia. Both are damn good

I love cigars, might even have what you'd call a collection if my intent wasn't to eventually set them all aflame.
I don't think cigars are what you're looking for to curb the urge to smoke cigarettes. Sure, some of them can pack a punch, but it's not the same as cigarettes.
You're probably looking for something more like Nicorette or Zyn.
If you do try a cigar, don't go cheap, or too cheap, it's not usually a good experience. Try something like a Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne. They are very tasty and on the milder side, which makes them a great entry into cigars. It'll cost you anywhere from $5-$10 depending on where you get them.

Just smoke weed instead

Cheap cigars are very often shitty. You don't have to spend a ton of money to buy decent cigars. Get on a website like cigarpage or Holts and buy a sampler or two. Once you know whether your palate prefers Connecticuts, maduros, or something in between, then you can start looking for the size and shape you like.
One of my favorite cigars is a CAO MX2. It's a maduro with hints of cocoa, and the quality is always there in the smoke. A robusto goes for about $5. I don't really do flavored cigars, but those are out there too. Everything from coffee to chocolate.
