Not bad for a 74 year old man still sounding fresh and crisp. Hopefully a new album will ensue.
River of Dreams (1993) was his last pop album that he released and a classical album (2001) followed but there were no lyrics.
Check it out:

That is cool. I heard an interview where he was asked why he hasn’t released anything new in a long time and he said “I pretty much said everything I wanted to say” The interviewer then told him Elton John said that Joel had more to say.
Joel responded in his typical defiant tone “Elton has said too much“

Maybe autotune in the studio?

I've also heard him say he has the same number of album releases as the Beatles so he's good with that.

Sounds like he's still got it. Nice tune. That's the good thing about Billy. His sound is classic, so it doesn't sound dated or like he's reaching. Like some "We Didn't Start the Fire" kind of shite.

He’s still got his voice. Not as high as it used to be but he still sounds good live and puts on a hell of a show. We went to one of his Madison Square Garden shows not too long ago and it was awesome to see him in NYC.

I’m sure they tinkered with it some but Billy Joel’s voice has held up a lot better than Elton John’s voice for example. Elton had the throat surgery in the late 80s but even still his voice doesn’t sound nearly as good as it did post surgery in the 90s.

The new song sounded good. Glad he's still rolling along.

Yep, I watched Elton's concert from Dodger Stadium from a couple of years ago and he sounded terrible. He cannot sustain long phrases while singing anymore and he sounds like he forces to rush the lyrics. Could be old age or weight, but his loyal fans will tell you it does not matter, he's Elton John. I'm a fan of his as well, but I'll rather stick to his recordings from his classic years.
