Laker vaginas scared to play at Boston. LeBron and Toni both sitting out tonight. Think the Lakers get fined for sitting stars in a national TV game? Lol.

Rockets get the raptors at home tomorrow. Lakers could be 11 seed by the weekend.

Kings at Pacers and Suns at Hawks Friday.

I'm hoping at least one of those teams pull off an upset

It is such a shitty draft, will be an interesting call on whether to swap or roll the dice on pushing it to next year. My guess is they push it.

Another month of rooting vehemently against every Western Conference team

Good thing is we go from #1 SOS January to #27 SOS February, so hopefully we can make up some ground

May be as good a time as any to cash it in as part of a trade.

Whoever it goes to will have to make the call now of whether it is 2024 or 2025 before it conveys, but this draft is supposed to suck and I am not sure what 2025 will hold with regards to the Lakers’ performance.

A team like Washington or Detroit would pay for this pick no matter what it turns out to be, should they either have something we want they can send us or whether they can facilitate bigger moves.

KoC is a pretty big draft guy, and he says it's only shitty at the very top.

He feels the middle of the 1st round is solid.

Teams we're fighting with remaining SOS:

- PHX 1st toughest in the NBA
- SAC 7th toughest in the NBA
- DAL 18th toughest in the NBA
- Pels 26th toughest in the NBA

I say all of that to say the time for excuses is over. There is quite literally no more excuses. Schedule is easy, go out and get a 5 seed. Someone gets hurt, too bad, we're hurt every year so that's just another reason for major shake ups.

The time for excuses has officially ended on February 1st, 2024. Go out and do the damn thing.

I agree as far as excuses for playoff seeding

Individual games people get way too caught up on in an 82 game season. But yea no excuses for not getting top 6 here. We have to

76ers star Joel Embiid has suffered torn meniscus in his left knee, a team official says.

That maybe end of the season for him

Yeah, and it means that thee 76ers may want to dump some players, if they aren't making a title run.

Sucks for the league.

Meniscus isn’t season ending. Didn’t Butler and Westbrook return from this? Even Zion injured it his rookie year early and came back.

If he’s able to come back likely would be around the playoffs, depending on severity and how quick he has surgery

Yeah I think hes back towards the end of the season. It all depends how sixers are playing without him as well.

All that matters for us is we play them on March 8th without him now

Embiid has 2-3 years left max. He has racked up injuries like crazy. I’m pretty sure he also had a torn meniscus the year they blew that series against the hawks.

I think this makes the sixers desperate at the deadline. You can’t take Embiid for granted. You have an MVP, the time is now.

Lakers play better team ball without Street Clothes and his boyfriend.
