They panicked. The Chiefs got up early, and the Ravens started pressing the majority of the game.

The end result is that the Chiefs only scored 17 points, but the Ravens played like they were down by two touchdowns the entire game.

And there was really no reason to do so. They abandoned the run early when there was still plenty of time. It’s not like they were down three touchdowns or something.

Which is insane considering their defense played a good game. The Chiefs only crossed the 50 twice in the second half, they punted from the Baltimore 48 and then the last pass that sealed the game. There was absolutely no reason to panic

100% this! The Chiefs controlled the ball so much in the first half, the Ravens' offense never got into the flow of the game. On top of that, Lamar just played bad.

This. If they stick to their gameplan from the entire season they win. Chiefs didn't score many points.

The drive that ended in the INT in the end zone was wild. Just kept chucking it down field every play.

This ^^^ is likely what happened.

What's inexplicable is the Chiefs lost one of their best run stoppers (Gay) early in the game and then lost one of their better pass rushers and still the Ravens refused to pound the ball and the Chiefs D was gassed in the 4th quarter.
