LSU hasn’t seen recruiting like this since I was simulating straight to off seasons in NCAA 05.

I'll be honest, when I made players 98 or 97 with some varying skills, they seemed to outproduce the players I made 99 with maxed-out skills.
It was almost as if the game knew I was trying to cheat with the 99s. But by making great 98s/97s players with some room left to grow, they'd actually play like their all-american ratings.

Smart dad! My kids were all on the Bama train at that time (Ingram in the best ever ??). I made them sit down, turn the game on, and I beat them so bad, my oldest son quit at halftime, the second one wouldn't even finish the game. I reminded them I've been playing since the game came out. If they didn't get the memo, the next stop was out the door. We have been to numerous LSU games since, and none like Bama! Sometimes, a dad has to do what a dad has to do!
