The proposed Senate Border Deal allows 150,000 illegal crossings per month, 1.8 million per year. It's a joke.

Notice they claim it gives the president authority to shut down the border.

Which also means it is up to the president to leave it open. Which they do not say.

They're just calling it "broken". In reality, they love the "brokeness". The only thing that's broken is the willingness of Democrats to revert back to the policies of 5 years ago. It's not complicated. To think that immigrants have somehow all of a sudden outsmarted the border police is simply stupidity.

Have things really changed that much, or did the Democrats simply start looking the other way when they figured out it meant more votes? They know Rome is burning - and they like it.

Do they care if the country crumbles? Not if it means perpetual power.

Or, you could just enforce the current laws.

At least it is acknowledged that it is a crisis.
