re: Kim Mulkey and her LSU Lady Tigers are not being given much respect for tonight’s game

I said largely meaningless IN THE BIG PICTURE.
Nothing is taken off the table by losing, especially the ultimate goal of a national title. This is also not an SEC championship game. It will play a big role in who wins the SEC regular season title, but it doesn't guarantee it. These are the games that you learn a lot from either way, it's a big game, but it doesn't take much off the table if you happen to lose.
Anybody with a brain knew what I meant, but it's not at all shocking that you are TrueTiger didn't comprehend it.

But I promise you that it is one of the team goals when the season starts. Winning the regular season conference championship is never meaningless.
Of course it’s a goal but baseball and basketball proved there’s no reason to complain about the sky falling tonight if they lose. Hopefully lessons were learned this time around

That’s because they are playing a team that has won 99% of the time for the last several years.

Is the season over if LSU loses tonight, no, they proved that last season. But I promise you that it is one of the team goals when the season starts.
I think the chances fell off a bit losing basically most of our bench. Poa is nice but Smith loss was massive. One of our best players and arguably our best rim protector is not playing anymore.
But I think this season will get Kim to stock up her roster a bit more next year and moving forward from the portal to enhance the depth we dont quite have.

Who said anything about “sky is falling”? I said the game is not meaningless. And last spring when LSU blew the SEC championship by dropping games to Miss State I never said the season was over. I stated my disappointment that we didn’t win the SEC.
And as for Hold That Tiger, for LSU to win the SEC they 100% need to win tonight. South Carolina will not lost two other games in SEC play. Was LSU football vs Alabama the SEC West championship? No. But LSU was never going to win the SEC West without beating Alabama as long as Saban was there.
You can’t count on other teams to beat South Carolina, so falling two games behind them in the SEC race is a death sentence in the goal of winning the SEC.

Tell us again how this game tonight is really meaningless, Dumbass. When you step in shite, you don’t even have enough intelligence to know how to step out if it. You truly are a loser. Most trolls usually are.

I realize this will be tough and South Carolina has a very good team. But they lost a lot from last season's team. I'm not sure they've had many close games this season.
LSU has a more experienced team. It seems like playing a tough conference foe on the road should at the very least mean the game will be close.
No doubt this will be a very tough game. Does South Carolina have any games where they are not hitting on all cylinders? Seems like it's time for them to have that kind of game.

LSU likely gets blown out, but it doesn't really matter in the end. Just look at last year.

People have forgotten about last year and how we won the NC. We had 9 new players join the team and only 1 returning starter. We didn't win the regular season, we didn't win the SEC Conf, we lost to SC. Coach Kim didn't panick. It was a long road, but we peaked at the right time, during NCAA tourney. Everyone was shocked we won the NC. This year we only have 2 returning starters (Angel and Flaujae) and new pieces added again. It was one of Kim's best coaching considering she had to put together a team of 9 new players. She should have won National Coach of the Year. I trust Coach Kim and staff to get everyone together and peak at the right time again.

Kim wants both, she would hate losing back to back to USC and their mouthy coach.

You constantly accuse me of trolling and I’m still waiting for you to show me one example of how I’m “trolling.”
You can say it all you want but it doesn’t make it true.
I couldn’t care less if you think I’m a loser or not but don’t be a liar too.

I wouldn’t play $600 for a WBB game if my son was the transgender starting point guard.

Well, respect is earned and some of the early season off the court problems/distractions and a horrible loss to a much less talented Auburn team recently isn't a good look.
As talented as this team is, there are clearly some attitudes that need to be adjusted if this team is going to live up to the high expectations. Those problems are magnified when your top players are the ones causing the problems.
Right now, I would clearly say South Carolina is a better team and have shown it out on the court. Can LSU beat them? Absolutely, but it's going to take a complete team effort, void of all the huge egos, to even stand a chance.
