Holy shite. Your ex-wife is the Patton of divorce warfare. You got outmaneuvered and outflanked on every front. This isn't even a battle. It's a rout.

When I got divorced my ex wanted to move back home. About 120 miles from where we were living she agreed to a set amount of each child and I signed off on her moving. Only would be 30 minutes from my parents.

Was going good for 9 years nothing wrong then the great corrupt POS state of Louisiana decides I need to carry the kids on my insurance never mind my ex is in healthcare and it’s cheaper for her to carry them(we both carry now) plus they decided I should be paying more child support even though my ex and her husband make over $300,00 a year

But here’s where my ex was an honorable person and told the judge she didn’t want more $$$$ she agreed to x dollars so she could move and that’s all she still wanted

You need to speak to a family law attorney about the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. It will likely control the jurisdiction question between essentially three different states. Also, your ex wife likely has an inconvenient forum argument if you try to proceed in Texas, especially since you don’t have any major contacts with Texas. I would guess you’re going to end up in Ohio to resolve any custody issues.

I’ll also add that I don’t understand incurring the financial costs to everyone to try to fight this in Texas when you are in Kentucky and she is in Ohio. Seems like an unnecessary expense.

Not a family lawyer, but know enough to suggest this is the correct answer from previous poster:

My parents were divorced and fought over a lot of shite, my mom had orders against my Dad in Louisiana and my Dad against my Mom in Mississippi since they couldn’t agree over jurisdiction it basically became a pissing contest between the states.

That’s why they created the Uniform Act to resolve shite like this

Im not trying to rag on you, but why did you agree to your wife to take your 4 kids to Ohio?

How often do you get to see them? That would suck bad.

I think you misread the OP.

He let his ex MOVE his kids to Ohio. It's not a vacation.
