That was true in many places in the south - including New Orleans. In fact, I had my single worst covid carding experience at GW Fins.

There is a noticeable lack of cultural identity like you will find in Atlanta and Chicago even, let alone New Orleans or Miami or New York.
Yeah, no shite. The PNW was settled hundreds of years after the east coast, south, and midwest. Hell, NYC was 250 years old when Seattle was a muddy spot on a beach. Cultural identity develops over centuries. You can find plenty of europeans that will just as easily dismiss Atlanta, and certainly Augusta, as cultural wastelands for the very same reasons you're dismissing Seattle.

The Asian food in the PNW is good. Its not Atlanta good. Its not even Augusta Georgia good, but it is the best option generally speaking in the region.

What kinda drugs are you on? Lemme guess you are miffed Gary's Hamburgers hasn't gotten a Michelin star yet.

Until and unless the likes of David Chang, Ming Tsai, and Cristeta Comerford start talking about Augusta's Asian food scene in reverent terms I think I will just dismiss your opinions on the matter as tripe. Not Thomas Keller's tripe mind you but tripe that has been sitting on the abattior's kill floor for the better part of two days.

Bruh has a lot to say for never living in Seattle or the Seattle suburbs. Same with Darth but he’s a confirmed idiot. It’s nice in WA. Little crime, low tax burden, mild winters, and beautiful summers. Most everyone outside Seattle proper is normal. Y’all should check it out.

Commonly known here as “BogalUSA”.

And the over/under on you surviving there for the first year is set at 4.25 months.

That's not as true anymore. They do now basically have a capital gains tax on gains > $250K. It's disguised as an "excise tax". It went to the WA Supreme Court and the justices basically ruled "we know this is unconstitutional, but we want it anyway".

Truly fricked.

No one here will ever have over $250k in capital gains.

See travel to Asia is so much easier but expensive AF on Delta. Much better than Austin. Was curious about the time difference for calls. Sometimes I find working on the west coast a blessing and others a curse.

Are you in the c-suite now? If not take the c-suite title because once you are in the club it opens another world of connections.

Nope. Work for a company that creates specialized software from enterprise software of one of the largest tech companies in the world.
