Do they make any other rifles that are decent? Don't know anything about Taurus other than that my old g2c still goes bang.

Taurus has only made pistols. This is their first rifle ever as far as i know.

IDK why I'd take a risk on it at that price point and not get something like a Bergara or Tikka for a similar price.

My thoughts as well. I'm not anti Taurus but at that price point, I would go with one of the more proven options. Aren't some tikka t3x models even cheaper than that?
If it were a couple hundred cheaper, maybe. But who knows, maybe it comes out and gets great reviews.
I have basically the same thoughts about the daniel defense pistol.

Yea, I think the most basic ones are $850 now and 950 for stainless.

I looked at the Taurus page a couple of times trying to figure out what kind of trigger they have in it but it's not listed. I'd feel better about it if it were a Triggertech or something and not one made by Taurus.
