Tyrell Ward’s 3 point shooting ability is a breath of fresh air..

It’s nice to have someone with his ability on the team.
He’s sitting at 41% (25-61).
I hope when he’s in the zone, we try to feed him the ball faster than we have before. He drained three 3s within two minutes in the 2H against Ole Miss and didn’t attempt another one for 3 minutes; which he missed.

He needs to play a lot more. I have wanted to see Ward and Reed develop a little faster than they have considering they were pretty highly rated guys and the "big" recruiting lands for McMahon.

Seeing Ward and Reeds sophomore jump has been encouraging for player development concerns.

It was a little bit of bad timing. He got hot and hit the first two...then there was a TV TO. He hit a third, but then LSU had two good possessions that resulted in layups...before another TO called by Ole Miss. By the time LSU got back to him he had cooled off. But it wasn't like LSU was taking bad shots in the interim. They were still scoring.
Ward has proven to be LSU's best spot up shooter. His poor defense has kept him off the court more than it should. I suspect they are going to give him some early shots tomrrow

In todays game you must make 7-9 a game to beat good teams. He has persevered and is being rewarded for staying the path…. Really good kid too.
