Does anyone have any good old pictures to share of campus/sport facilities? I’m always fascinated to look at those.

I’ll start: Tiger Stadium w/ Alex Box Stadium in the background. c. 1950s.

I know there is a building where part of the old Alex Box sits, but I always thought it would be cool if they'd paint the old field lines in that parking lot. Most of us old guys have some memories from the original alex box. It would be cool to see exactly where it used to be.

Picture is likely from the 1940s.

Stadium was expanded to that configuration in 1936 and became a bowl in 1953. Original Alex Box was constructed in 1938.

I'm sure this was either posted in the 2016 thread or in other threads about the pool, but:

The HPL pool and my best read on the year is 1936, but I could be way off.

Yes I have a picture of LSU vs Jefferson Barracks from 1909 and a huge picture of LSU vs Tulane on the first match up after Tulane rejoined the SIAA conference from 1911 (North eastern side of the State Captial).

What are all those people doing on the field?
Did we just beat Knute Rockne or something?
