I struggled my first year out the military (retired Army) 15 jobs. Finally learned you cannot talk to civilians the way you talked to folks in the military, Also found out that some civilians don't give two craps about the company they work for, just the paycheck.

Exactly. You don’t want to explain to a potential employer why you got fired or why you quit.
It’s poor form to talk shite about your current employer on the interview trail. Better to stay positive and talk about the opportunity.

DO NOT quit until you have something else lined up. As someone that hires folks, fair or not, its a big red flag when someone does this
