Dennis Allen isn't getting fired. I just don't see it.

They are moving/letting go Carmichael and their are likely some other staff but thats it

I said his experience qualifies him.

If knowing the interworkings of a sports team is the only qualification for posting about that team then message boards sure would be a boring place.

The fact we let an offensive assistant interview for a lateral job seems that the offensive side (or perhaps the whole staff) will be nuked

Maybe, but I will believe that entire side is nuked when they are nuked.

I don't trust DA or this FO.

Which is why I have been saying for like 3 months I think this is what they do

I'd love to be totally wrong and they bring in someone great.

Lommis is moving up. One of guys interview for a GM position. He will get a GM position in Saints organization.

I can see Loomis failing up more into de facto ownership

But would that actually change anything?

As long as Lauscha is running the stockpile Loomis isn't going anywhere

Just kind of amazes me Allen’s job isn’t in jeopardy. What exactly do they see in the guy the rest of the world doesn’t as a HC?

Players have apparently told you in meetings, then reinforced that through actions on the field, fans don’t like him, media national and local think he’s a joke. What do you gain by keeping him?

That’s the point. DA needs a fall guy for when we inevitably go 0-5. He’ll fire Curry and name Gruden OC and DA will hope that will buy him a full season

I can only hope that after doing the end of year reviews they realize they have to fire Allen. Maybe hearing from the players changed things.

Idk but if DA was being fired, one of the national guys like Rap or Schefty would have heard something by now. I don’t think that’s the news

That’s probably true. But the question I have is why would Duncan tweet this cryptic tweet? Would a new OC be shocking? It seems totally obvious and I don’t think it would register?

So to me it could either be Allen fired, Loomis changing or a bunch of players cut/traded.

ETA: or more likely Duncan just building suspense for a nothing burger to get people following him today.
