Turnovers were the difference

And Cook was not the answer last night. Was disappointed in his performance. Need him to play at a higher level against that kind of competition. Even Hannibal had too many turnovers as well as he played in the second half. But as a team they played at a high level to come back from a 28 point deficit and they outrebounded Auburn on the road. This team plays hard for their coach and they are lightyears better than last year. Auburn is primed to make a deep run this year and our guys gave 100% on the road. Could have easily been a 30-40 point loss. They deserve the support of the LSU fanbase and we need to pack the PMAC for Ole Miss.

No, talent, depth, coaching, atmosphere, and turnovers were the difference

It’s been the difference all season. LSU is one of the worst in the nation in TOs. When they limit the TOs they can compete on most nights. When they don’t they get blown out.

Turnovers were the difference
—that, plus Auburn scored a lot more points than LSU

notice that Pearl did not call a T. O during the come back, like most coaches would have. He decided to let LSU where themselves out and then put in his well rested line up back in. Pearl uses that strategy frequently. No other team can play 2+ full line ups
