Who's John Williams and why should he be playing?

Speedy RB and punt returner
ETA: I'd rather see Stevan Ridley get more PT, FWIW

Unless he scoring the new LSU DVD entitled "Malvetto's greatest telegraphed blitz packages" then I doubt he'll show up.

No way they burn his red shirt for the bowl game.

Should've been our PR all year, and should be returning kicks over Williams...IMO

He's been on special teams some this year. He's not redshirted, but he won't play any more than special teams.

You have no clue as to what you're talking about. He would run circles around K. Williams on kickoff returns. I don't know what the hang up is with him not playing, but you will be surprised when he is allowed to return kicks. Ask anyone on the defensive side of the ball about his performance when he runs the QB position for scout offense.

Most likely won't be seeing any p.t. this year and didn't even travel to arkansas but should next and for the rest of his college career. I know first hand at his capabilities on special teams we graduated together and yes i did play football not just went to school with him.

I couldn't agree more. I don't think K. Williams is a very good choice to return kicks. He seems to just run into a pile. John Williams was an outstanding returner in H.S. Maybe nexy year.

If I was lsu i wouldn't rush him into returning kicks and shite for the bowl game. And yes he was very outstanding in H.S. as a returner although he is not reletively fast (i.e. Holliday even k. Williams) but he is ellusive as hell.

J.W. is an outstanding athlete on a team full of outstanding athletes. Still, it's hard to figure how he's been reduced to Teams with his open field ability.

And it is amazing that we utilize none of this talent at safety.
We are stuck with slow and slower at safety.
