Well, the game is played differently today.

Nobody plays defense at all.

And he’s not yet 25 years old.

Luka is having an incredible season, and not many have been better than him this early into his career.

He’s worth going to see live in person if you get the chance.

Is Luka just a better James Harden when it comes to performance/number v team success? With worse success bc the Mavs regular seasons haven't come close to the Rockets with Harden.

Ehh it’s a crazy stat but to be fair the NBA has massively changed since Dirk was in his prime. Games in the 80s were common. Teams did not run or shoot 3s like they do now plus the rules have been changed to favor the offense to the Nth degree.

Nice. Last year was my first time seeing him live, and it really out it into perspective for me just how large Zion really is.

Luka is built differently that everyone else, and really using that frame and weight well.

And Zion has 40+ pounds on luka at basically the same height.

Hawks playoff record with Trae: 12-15, reached ECF
Mavs playoff record with Luka: 12-16, reached WCF

Trae Young 35+ Point Playoff Games, his team is 5-2
reminder that Luka's team is 4-8

Yea, I took my boys and went to see Pels-Mavs last season in Dallas. 5 days before the game Zion pulled the hammy. Game was back to back so they also sat BI and CJ, so we had that going for us lol. We did get a 35 point triple double from Luka if I recall, so that was cool.

This year, I'm nervous again. Luka got dinged up last night, Zion questionable now. I'm hopeful everyone is healthy for 1/15, but we shall see.

I ponied up for the good seats this year in the 100s, really hoping for a big time matchup.

Doncic +/- ranks #116 in the league so far this year. He gets a ton of stats but the team is lacking overall even with him in the floor. If you assume 5 starters x 32 teams that comes to 160 players. Of course its more complicated than that but his stats are not aiding the team overall. Is it the team? He’s been there while now.
