Thomas is the same problem he was under both coaches. Maybe getting rid of Kamara because he's a highly paid late 20s RB but I'm sure our shitty staff didn't like him so loudly calling out the coaches.

So we’ll be a less talented team, harder schedule with the same shitty coaching staff.

They’re actually tied with Atl for the easiest schedule next year (based on this years results)

Our livelihoods are not tied to the end results each year. So if this is what it takes to get out of this cap shell game, I’m down for some epic shitty seasons. Bring on some bad football for the bigger picture; assuming there’s an actual long-term plan in place

They’re tanking with an expensive vet QB and keeping the same coach who was part of the Sean Payton culture. Yes a rebuild is needed- the process of how this is being done is stupidity.

What's the point of hiring a new coach to tank, you won't be able to hire a good young coach to do that anyway, besides just wanting some movement?

If they truly want to rebuild they wont restructure and extend Carr. Thats the key. If they restructure Carr- this isn’t a rebuild its just pure stupidity.

Yeah lions hired canpbell, texans hired demeco. It happens all the time. You want to draft and get guys your new coach wants.

Ding ding ding

No more can kicking

Suck it up for a couple of years, take your lumps, and get rid of these aging vets and their bloated contracts.

Something that should have been done two years ago.

But watch them restructure Carr and sign dumb free agents. I want them to rebuild but I also think they’re not going to do that. I think Loomis and this regime really believe in Carr.

The Texans definitely didn't hire Demeco to tank. They hired Culley and Lovie for that. The Lions never have to tank because besides the last 25 or so games they're always in tank territory without trying.

So basically. Loomis is scared to hire a coach that will give him any push back and expose him for the washed out GM that he has become?

Apparently it’s been said a lot of players from the Sean Payton era weren’t bought into DA and a voiced their opinions in the locker room and it’s led to friction.

What could possibly go wrong?

This is genius. Mickey has his ready made excuse when Dumb arse fails again next year. It’s a rebuild, got to give him time. This franchise is done for.

I think Peat, Cam and Demario are safe.

The rest are gone. I’d bet Kamara stays just because of his contract

DA is staying on maybe privately Saints front office thinks this is an aging roster. It needs a overhaul of young talent to win in this league. DA can coach San Francisco and still miss the playoffs
