Also strange, i remember reading on IMDb a while back that she was legally blind, and when shooting the diving board scene- they sent her up and she had no idea where she was walking and almost fell off numerous times .

The actress who spoke that line also had a very interesting career. She was in Animal House and caddyshack and maybe one or two other things that were not very noteworthy, then went a little wayward and kind of disappeared.

I would say on one hand she was very fortunate to be in two of the great comedies of all time. OTOH, evidently she was suffering from some mental illness.
