I refuse to celebrate fully until the ink is on the paper. I’ll relish in the PR glory for LSU but, in today’s climate, a verbal means very little to an 17-18 year old athlete. A lot can happen in a year.

5 star quarterbacks RARELY recommit after picking a school. It's the quarterbacks responsibility to help recruit the playmaker around them. Doesn't make sense to flip to a school last minute.

It's a big deal to land his commitment. Exciting for the program. At the same time, it's an out of state #1 overall recruit and we've got to fend of the hounds for nearly another year.
