Outside of KISS Gene Simmons is an arse hole. He stayed at a resort I was working at in Scottsdale back in the early 90's. Arrogant jerk

If you believe what Paul Stanley wrote in his book, Ace has always resented Tommy simply because Tommy was hired to fill in for Ace when he was drunk, high, or just too lazy to perform. Allegedly Tommy is also the reason Ace refused to appear at their RNR Hall of Fame induction.

The funniest part of KISS with Peter and Ace is that history repeated itself with the reunion makeup tour in the 90s almost within the exact timeframe as the original incarnation and breakup happened. First 4 or 5 years were great then Peter sort of left then Ace then a few back and forths and then both gone for good, just like the early 80s.
Ace will always be my favorite member of the band but none of them are able to be professional when it comes to getting along long term.

Ace has always been one of my favorites as well. Saw them a couple years back and it just wasn't the same

KISS was never scheduled to play the HOF. Contracts prevented the original four from playing. Plus the HOF swallowed a bitter pill inducting them after years of backlash from the music industry. They refused to induct the other former members with the original four.
Paul, Gene, Tommy and Eric did play after the HOF under the Brooklyn Bridge.
