why do people abuse alcohol, eat fast food, drive with their eyes and hands on their phones, have kids but refuse to raise them...

There are a lot of things people do that actually has a negative impact on other people...vaping isn't one of them

I didn’t say it has a negative effect on other people.
It has a negative effect on yourself

Don’t forget the number one addiction everyone is silent over, their porn addiction.

I’d argue that porn is equally as addictive, and destructive to current relationships as well as their future relationships.

I used to vape (Juul). It's a mild stimulant. It helped me focus at work, a little... kind of like coffee. Outside of the fact that you're addicted to something and have to acquire it, I don't really perceive it as a major health risk for most people.

Ask yourself: do you see more people on oxygen tanks at trashy retail outlets, or more people on scooters?

I finally quit vaping (Juul, which is a high-nicotine option) on December 23rd because of one very specific potential health risk that I face personally. I have high blood pressure, and nicotine can raise blood pressure. But it's pretty mild, and temporary, and quitting vaping was one of several steps I took all at once to work on my condition.

Abstinence from vaping is not some litmus test for good health. There are valid reasons one might want to self-administer nicotine, and vaping is a pretty safe, clean way to do it.

And LMAO at the people worried about second-hand vaping. Second-hand smoke was already a pretty pussy thing to be worried about

I smoke cigarettes. Huge addiction. Wish I had never started. Tried quieting before. Never takes.

It affects other people. Cigarettes I have to smell it or pick up after them. Vapers think they can suck on that thing like a dick where ever they may be

Do they not care about their bodies at all

I am more concerned with morbid obesity.

oh let's get started on it. I herniated my L4/5 and L5/S1 Nov. 22 trying to help turn a 600lb patient. and as nurses- we are required to turn ppl every 2 hours, and these ppl either physically can't help or refuse to help.

give me a scrawny arse smoker any day over a 600lber with Toxic Bisquit Poisoning.

Obviously cigs are bad for you, but it’s a real shame to go back to college towns or out to bars and seeing all the 20-somethings vaping. Cigarettes were undoubtedly cooler. The smoking scene at any party was a social venue, if nothing else.

While I agree with this because I would never vape anything other than weed. I know plenty of guys that do. I would hardly call them tutti frutti

Marlboro lights for the win!

No. That would be walking behind a dog with a little bag of its shite in your hand. I understand and appreciate the politeness of doing so. But it doesn’t make it less degrading as a human being.

Like the old Seinfeld bit. If aliens came to earth and saw that who would they think is in charge?
