He’s behind several qb in this draft
He reminds me of a smaller version of tua
I think Williams daniels maye and possibly even nix go ahead of him
Ward is also in the draft now

If he’s not someone is getting a steal

Medicals will be huge

Isn’t he like 25 years old?
That might hurt him somewhat

My guess is yes. Probably the 4th QB taken, mid to late first. If he doesn’t have multiple serious knee injuries he could have been in the running with Caleb/Maye.

Penix is 6’3. He dwarfs tua

He’s 23

He should be. He’s better than 90% of the QBs taken in the first round the last couple of decades.

Even if he’s 25, why would that hurt him? QBs are expected to play well into their mid 30s at least

Dude can sling it. Looks like he and Odunze will make some franchises very happy.

Absolutely! He’s got all the traits to be a successful NFL QB.

It wouldn’t. I don’t know that that dude is talking about

He’s definitely Top 2 round material

Too risky for a 1st rounder. He’s had like 4 season ending injuries.

He should be. Dude is IT.

Went to the sugar bowl tonight. Have seen many great college QBs.
I’d take Penix first overall. Guy has the two most important skills a QB in the nfl needs - he’s accurate and decides quickly.
Really was blown away by how good he was. Whether it was moving in the pocket early to by time or simply releasing the ball quickly, guy went through progressions and played with zero fear. It was a master class of college QB’ing.
Also - the Washington WRs made every play for him tonight.

Someone mentions he had knee surgeries.

Yes, Penix should have won the heisman

How is he not a first rounder? I’d take him in a second over Williams or Maye. He’s a gamer and throws a beautiful ball.
