Tennis/pickleball court back yard

I have a large concrete slab and am thinking about adding to it for a court.
Anyone has experience or know someone that resurfaces to eliminate all the existing cracks and gaps? How would I DIY?

Pickleball may be doable. Post tension concrete slab with lighting and surfacing for tennis is around $100k. I’ve done the research. Claytech would be a good option for tennis if slab is big enough but then pickleball on it isn’t an option.
Probably depends a bit on your tennis level and how serious you want to take it. Remember an optimal court has 120 x 60 feet of concrete.

Do you live in the country? Are you aware how loud and annoying pickle ball noise is..

For resale purposes I think it would be best to go full tennis court. Pickleball craze will die down in a couple years and you will be able to repurpose the spot better if you needed to.

You will get zero resale value on the court and it will be non attractive item..
I had two neighbors with full size courts… one died and kids took over the house and it sold but they got no add on for the court.. another retired and sold his house and people just figured it was wasted space or put in bball for the kids.

To each their own. You're more likely to find someone that can turn a tennis court into a basketball court than a pickleball court that gets converted into something else, IMO. Outdoor turf companies will generally build basketball courts that can be multi-purposed for other things, usually in neighborhood/city parks. That's the mindset I was going with for having a tennis court instead of tennis court.
Pretty sure there are designs now that can accommodate a tennis/pickleball/basketball court in the same spot.

Some of these responses are bizarre to me. The OP didn't mention resale. Lots of people have interest in pickelball but not tennis and vice versa.
I guess I just don't understand two of you.
A friend of mine repainted his tennis court into two pickelball courts. He left the net. It could be redone so easily.

build/install what you want for you, not for the next guy. You are the one who lives there now. I couldn’t possibly care less about whether the next owner of my house wants or needs the improvements I’ve made.

Is the pickleball craze going to last long enough to make the investment worthwhile?

I rarely play pickleball, but I disagree its going away. Its a lot of fun and a lot easier then tennis. Let's go the other way, what benefit does tennis give you over pickleball?
I'd agree a basketball hoop would be a nice addition also OP.

Agree. Pickleball is here to stay and will only gain in popularity. It’s very addictive with a much shorter learning curve than tennis to enjoy and improve.

There’s a place on Seigen in front of Jim’s Firearms that builds sport courts.

Oh don't worry, Sexdeck will be a big re-selling point. Big.
