It’s not the same and I’m not digging it! College Championships will be tarnished from here on out! Screw whoever came up with this shite-show needs to get kicked in the nuts!

Athletes should be able to transfer. Unregulated NIL is ruining the sport.

Get with it ...or get left behind and cry about it.

There's teams in the 4 team playoff still making waves in the transfer portal in middle of a Championship run... and our staff is sitting back doing the bare minimum after fielding arguably the worst defense in school history.

It’s Ed O’bannon’s fault.

So is LSU’s 2019 title tainted because of Burrow transferring?

Is Daniel’s heisman tainted?

Any college student can transfer schools. Why should an athlete be treated differently?

NIL and portal have pretty much ended the college football we grew up with. I understand the players wanting to get paid but something has to be put in place to put a cap on it. Right now this is highest bidder usually gets player. You add in the transfer portal and college football is pretty much the wild west right now .The portal also needs something solid in place.
Here are my proposals :
1)NIL needs a rookie cap type deal where players should be paid a limit when signed out of high school until they prove their worth after one year in college. Players that transfer with no stats are paid the rookie minimium similar to ones signed out of high school. Players with starting experience in college NIL deal based on performance.
2) Transfer portal limited to 1 transfer while in college. That will make the decision much harder for players just to keep jumping around year to year.

College football got too big for itself. It was always going to change and it's gonna change a lot more.

You consider LSU women’s Basketball Championship tainted or Baseball Championship tainted? Neither of those happen without transfers. Or are we just talking about football since LSU has been unable to capitalize to the extent that other schools have?

Because the entire purpose of this whole endeavor is to provide entertainment to fans. The priority needs to be making the sport the most appealing for fans, not catering to players. If they don't want that deal then don't come to college or come as a regular student like everyone else.

people hate change.

Such as this plantation thinking.

We should vacate our 2019 football title and recent baseball and women’s basketball titles.

Too tarnished.

Money ruined college sports.

The schools caved in to television. They took the money and did what the networks wanted.

Tradition lost out to the dollar sign. Games were arranged for tv. Kickoff times were set by tv. Games got longer and longer because of tv. Conferences were destroyed because of tv. Rivalry games were lost because if tv.

The schools, ath departments, and coaches prospered. As bigger and bigger tv contracts came rolling in the contracts for everyone got bigger and bigger. Everyone involved got bigger and bigger pieces of the pie except the players.

It was inevitable that the players would eventually get theirs too. The NCAA tried spoon feeding them a little sugar, but the courts looked hard at the situation and blew it all up.

The transfer portal is not what ruined football. It’s just allowing the players to do what the coaches have been doing for years. Cut the best deal for themselves.

I disagree. TP isn't the problem. lack of NIL rules is the problem. Players wanting money instead of development.

If you eliminate the FA aspect of NIL+TP, then it would be fine. Some players need to move down to a lower level. Some need to move up. Some guys are getting screwed because the over valued themselves.
