Pelicans are a luxury tax team and yet

We have no clear direction , no clear rotations, we are abismal on offense with our luxury tax players in crunch time, we have lost 9 games with double digit leads, and are 0-6 in games decided by 3 points or less.
Surely this is the year we trade someone and don’t just accept the status quo right?

What do people have so much against BI all the time no matter how well he plays? We lose that game badly without him tonight. He kept us in the game in the 3rd by himself.

He's a good player but to me he just doesn't play winning basketball and isn't a great #2
He would be a very good #3 in the right fit. He's not that good a ball handler, passive, and shoots midrange and often refuses to shoot the 3 when open.
I still like him though.

If we don't pay the luxury tax, that means we either:
A. Weren't good enough.
or
B. We are good enough to compete and Gayle still won't pay the tax which is the signal that she'll just never pay the tax, and thus we'll never be able to contend for anything of note
