Just thought I’d ask . . .

i watched up to episode 4. I'm enjoying it.
I like trying to guess which 80s movie they're basing each episode on.
Episode 1: Bladerunner
Episode 2: ET
Episode 3: Die Hard
Episode 4: Mad Max
Apparently episode 4 was meant for last season, but it wasn't ready yet so they moved it over.

No weak episodes yet. Ep3 will be a classic.

Honestly with Majors out of the picture and no more Kang they should just run with the Ultron story at the end of season 1. Finally do Ultron justice

Episodes 5 & 6 made me sleepy.

So far I've really liked it.
**SPOILERS**
No bad episodes, IMHO. Seeing one spoken nearly in Kanien’kehá:ka (the language of the Mohawk tribe) was pretty interesting. I like that Kahhori wasn't perfect right off the bat - I think if the episodes weren't so short we would have gotten a real mentor relationship with Atahraks - but sadly introducing a new hero in a 23 minute episode means fast tracking a lot of stuff.
Kind of a kick in the butt that Captain Carter didn't get to be with Steve, but at least we find out why Hydra wasn't a threat in Peggy's world - Steve and Bucky spent two decades hunting them to extinction.
The Christmas episode was just plain fun. Sometimes they're goofy and I like those.
Neblua's was more interesting at the start - I was really digging the cyberpunk aesthetic.
Peter Quill's episode was probably my least favorite, but still good.
Iron Man in the Grandmaster's world was good. I like that Tony got a chance to showcase his building outside of just a suit.
Honestly, it's been a fun season so far.

Makes sense, as Gamora was the only member of the Guardians of the Multiverse we had not seen in a previous episode.

Can they not just replace the actor?

Some critics are claiming they can't because all the Kang variants looked like Majors.
Dunno why though; Loki had variants that looked like him and some that didn't look a damned thing like him.

Yet they are ignoring that Rhodey went from a stocky light-skinned dude to a slender dark-skinned dude?
Anyway, the animation for What If is beautiful.

Is it voiced by RDJ?

Sadly no. RDJ and Evans have sat out What If...? - both have pretty much said they are done with the MCU as they feel both characters have had their full stories told.
Hemsworth, Ruffalo, and Renner voice their characters while ScarJo also sits out What If - so 3 out of 6 original Avengers.
The guy voicing Iron Man is actually the same one who's done his voice in several of the Marvel animated series.

The last two episodes went with the "evil white people" and "noble savage" tropes...

One featured the Spanish conquistador conquest.
It’s not like that didn’t happen.
But you know, muh woke upsets you so be upset.

Not yet.
But I will at some point.
I enjoyed the first season well enough.

I never have a problem with that. My issue is always with the portrayal of Native Americans as peaceful nature lovers, when they were as savage and destructive as anyone else. The Noble Savage trope is insulting to NA culture.

Don’t bother, he can’t process anything you’re writing. He’s in that deranged leftist state and will soon start trying to gaslight you.
