I think fans need to realize that BK doesn't answer to us and like most successful HCs has an ego and doesn't like being pressured or questioned. He will tell us who is being hired and fired when he wants to tell us who is hired and being fired and we just have to wait until that time comes.

He will either win here or he won't but he's not gonna bend to the fans will either way.

Saban's systems stay the same no matter who is the OC and DC. Kelly does the same on offence.

No clue what LSU does on defense. Does anyone run out crap scheme at a top tier level?

You’re comparing a coach who has 7 nattys to a coach who’s barely over .500 against top 25 teams.

Sure, have some......

LSU isn't bama, will not be bama and doesn't run its program like bama.

Hasn’t Saban also fired at least one coach during the season? I don’t see how this helps us know if Kelly is doing the right thing.

Can we stop comparing BK to Saban until the former warrants it.

What Saban does will work no matter what because he will always win at an elite level. BK hasn’t proven that, so his approach to hiring coordinators merits questioning.

Not saying we shouldn't be patient and make the right hires, but Bama is going to pull a Top 3 class even if Saban fires all his coordinators and position coaches and waits till after the season to hire new ones. We don't have that luxury.

That being said, I'm sure Kelly has a plan and we have no choice but to wait and see how it turns out.

I don't think this is an apples to apples comparison. Saban has a well oiled machine in recruiting and has shown to players and recruits that he still wins even with a steady flow of OC's DC's etc.

CBK doesn't have that machine right now and having question marks on the DC is an issue for recruits. Now maybe he has somebody lined up for Jan/Feb but this is not the way to validate the timing of CBK's DC hire. Coaches everywhere would be eager to work for Saban because of continual success of the program and it will boost their career. CBK is not at the point yet.

and he probably fielded the worst team on both sides of the ball for last decade. Bama is extremely lucky to be in the playoffs.....that Auburn win was the luckiest thing I've seen in a long time. Ga on the other hand, is the best team in college football, and they just keep signing 5 stars out of HS and the portal. Why? because the players believe the Ga coaches can make them better. For that reason, LSU can't sign anything close to that...plus Ga apparently has more $ than LSU for football.
Oh well, we should be good in baseball again.
